I have spent my entire working life in owner-managed companies. As chairman of the board at Brunata, I led the company through a turnaround, international expansion, and a sale that doubled its value in just a few years. Today, I use this experience to help other companies balance strategy, ownership, and collaboration in management.
My family and I took over responsibility for Brunata during a period of losses. We mapped the core values, professionalized the management team and gathered the right competencies - and within a few years we turned the deficit into significant growth. Today, I share the experiences from our own generational change and the sale of the company with owner families who want to create a strong common foundation.

As chairman of the board, I spearheaded the transformation that took Brunata from loss to growth and on to a successful sale. The experience gave me a practical understanding of turnaround, international expansion and responsible exit in the middle of a generational change.
Since then, I have advised and taught owner families through collaborations with INSEAD, CBS and Family Business Network, among others. My focus is to combine values, governance and culture so that owners, board and top management pull in the same direction.
